The Dollywash Recording
Company is a small independent label based in the Northeast of England run by
music lovers/artists for artists. Each band has its own page where you can
listen & enjoy their work and perhaps purchase quality download or hard
copies of your very own xx
OH!!…. and there are some
rules….
WE DO NOT take any
percentage of royalties. ALL sales are paid directly to the artist who then
retains 100% of the finances until the end of the financial year when they are
shown any administration costs etc for the label and asked to make a donation of "basically whatever they can afford and think is fair from their record
sales"
WE DO NOT own artist
copyright, ALL artists retain ALL rights
WE DO NOT enter into binding
contracts with our bands. ALL are free to move onto bigger things at anytime,
with our blessing xx
WE DO NOT care for trends or
music charts…. "If it’s real then its good"
BUT WE DO actively seek out
new and innovative bands/music projects and give them a home and as much help
and support as we can.
